What can I do to help the Incinerators?

This topic is based on experienced members coming together and offering their help and experience to new members :)… So inevitably, the question arises.  What is it I can do to help the Incinerators and my Alliance mates?

This topic is an attempt to answer that question. It will be pinned, but you are welcome to reply to it with ideas that do not appear in this post.  Your ideas will likely be added, and with that one step, you will have already helped your alliance. By doing this also it shows your personal qualities to the alliance enabling the councils to see that you are willing to go that extra mile to help the Incinerators and your Alliance Mates

This topic is the results of the efforts of knightstorms, BlueGalazy, UnHolyWarrior, Shelissa, Tac Alley, minyee, YeOldePancake, v3ritas Carlo, GideonHawke (who originally typed it up and made it look kinda good) and not to mention all of those, who taught all of us, what we know on the subject. Thanks for the effort folks!

So, in no particular order here are some ideas for you:

Take the time to learn!  Read the Forum Rules.  Learn what is acceptable and what is not. One thing you can be sure is not acceptable is belittling other members i.e. cursing, flaming (thanks Celtic_Princess).  Good natural teasing is fine “*Tease Knightstorms about his beer*“, but when it turns mean spirited, or in your mind you’re thinking “I’ll get him/her good now” as you write a new post, it most likely does not belong here and if you do you will receive a warning from a moderator Although you wont do this because you would of read the rules . By knowing this ahead of time you avoid tying up our Moderators and our leadership. They are friendly, they don’t bite (often) and they are always willing to help. However, every time you use a resource already available to you it enables you to learn what you want to know, so you then free them up to assist others in greater need.  There are several resources listed in the Our Facilities topic, located in Kyan’s Great Library and many other places on this site.
DT Tools & Clickmaster This is where all of the Incinerators DT tools are: currently we have the PWC *Personalized War Centre*, ORE *Overall Rank Evaulator, Tess *Incinerator’s Target Sorter and great Farm Tools, These tools were made by TheKolt, our Lord Chancellor. We also have a wide variety of other web-based tools that will make your time in the Incinerators a lot more easy

So one excellent place to start is at the Step-by-Step Guide to the Incinerators topic. So invest the time to learn your way around so you too can help new members when needed B) learn what is expected and what is restricted, and where you should discuss appropriate topics. If you find you still have a question about how the forum works or you run into a problem step up and post about it in the Shelissa’s Help/Support,  forum which is the place to ask for help with issues regarding the forum, once posted our members will swoop on the topic and bombard it with their knowledge :); this giving you your answer. If you need help figuring out Dark Throne and all of its aspects, then NBlades’ Art of War is just the place for you to ask your question; and then our experienced members will give their advice to you. One other thing to consider is being careful with your font colors (thanks BlueGalazy).  It might look perfect on the skin you’re using but it could be totally unreadable to one another.

Participate in the forum. Be active, be creative and try to add something to every topic you choose to reply to. Outside of our “SPAM” games, avoid “SPAMMING” the forums. These forums are quite active, so all SPAM does make it that much harder for your fellow alliance mates to make sense of new posts . Participate, be humorous, insightful, friendly, polite, odd, whatever fits you, so long as it is within the rules and is not being rude or abusive. Participation is important, but quality over quantity is the key, so bear that in mind when posting .

Join the Clickmaster, and participate OFTEN.  If you join but do not participate, you accomplish nothing for yourself or your alliance. If you are going to commit to this (and it is WELL worth it!), then commit to it and do the clicks.  The reward is an near guarantee that you will always get those extra CREDIT everyday. Take a look at the Gold Clickmaster joining topic if you are interested. LivingDeadGirl666, Chicanos and Jon010, are in charge of the Clickmaster so by posting in those topics they will add you to the Clickmaster so you can get started.

Help others out directly by clicking their links to give them citizens, or transferring gold to their accounts.  Some of our members are in need of a bit of extra assistance.  That’s what the Beggars Alley is all about.  Go there, and contribute what you can to assist those among us who are in need.  Or, if you are in need yourself, go there and post in the appropriate topic to be added to the lists.
