TPH’s way of learning PHP

I started learning PHP somewhere around 2001/2002. I was 12-ish years old and I didn’t really knew that much, even though I thought I did. It was hard for me to start, I didn’t know much and information wasn’t easy to come by. I understood English, but all those technical terms (which I now use far too often now) were hard to understand.

I still remember how I started - I found a tutorial on how to make your own password protected site. I spent maybe a week just looking at what I had made with the help of a tutorial and playing around with it. If you too want to learn to program PHP, try it the TPH way.
